Helpless

I just procured a Palm Zire 72. Very much au fait with the concept and behaviour or the Windows OS, the palm OS serves as a challenge, though reviews have its positive backing. Helpless as i am trying to watch mpeg videos even compatible with the Real one player, could anione advise me what to do? i downloaded the kimano player as well and saw that it was in a PDB format so i further downloaded a konvertor, but to no avail. Please help. Pronto. Cheers.

You should be able to just drag the mpeg file to the Palm Quick Install tool and it will automatically convert the file to a compatible format to be put on a memory card with enough free space. Then after a hotsync you should be able to play it using the Media program on your palm, don't try RealOne because it's only for music.
Hope this helps ;)
Good luck
I know your asking about using the software that came with your Z72. I don't use Kinoma but If you ever decide to buy another 3rd party viewer I highly recommend MMPlayer. I use PocketDVD to convert my DVD's to AVI's and I'm ready to go. My 1 gig SD card has about 500 megs of Dora and Baby Einstein DVD's for my son. Nothing like a media player with Dora in a restaurant with a 2 year old!!! You can code you DVD's with software but I have know interest in the learning code.
They work great together.
Good Luck

I second the recommendation for MMplayer for playing and pocketDVD for encoding.
After encoding the long way with GK manually (took aver 12 hours!!) I completed the same task with pocketDVD in about 2 hours!
MMplayer will also play most of your audio stuff too.
