Hotsync Prob...

Whenever i try to hotsync...the hourglass(cursor) will change then go back to normal...next nothin happens.THEN,my SJ30 will state its the connection between my palm n desktop that has the prob.My brother says we need to reinstall our Windows ME...wat shud i do?

Try re-installing the Palm desktop, don't attach clie until you are told to do so.

You could also consider upgrading to Windows 98, ME was the worst implimentation of the Windows software since 2.0. Seriously tho, if you upgraded your PDA from a NON-Sony, did you first remove the old Palm desktop and THEN install the Sony version??

That could also be a factor.

that would actually be considered downgrading to 98 from ME. you really should upgrade to 2000 for optimal performance.

Why not upgrade to XP while your at it. A lot complained about Windows ME, but I found it better than Win 98. My Sony stuff worked just fine on Windows ME on several PC's
