What is the best memory stick to use? I just bought a Sandisk 256Mb Memory stick pro for $29.99...Gotta love those day after thanksgiving sales! I was just wondering what the best ones are...

Any DUO one.
I don't think there is any "better" one. They are basically all the same, only different brand wise and where it's made. The DUO is not all it's cracked up to be, requiring a Memory Stick (regular) adapter to work with most devices and having a maximum capacity of only 128 MB (256 MB for Pro I think).

yeah duo is just ok. i come to find out after shelling out money for one than the memory card reader i have in my pc cant read duo cards. it says memorystick or pro compatable and i asumed that the duo pro would count. but i was wrong. if the clie didnt itself show up as a card reader then i would have takin the memory back. as for what is best. i would have to say none are. they all are gettin the same transfer rates but the sandisk one does say it uses "unique memory technology for optimal performance, optimal quality, and price" blah blah.
i was a sucker so i got it over the sony ;p cant blame me tho it was 15$ cheaper :)

DUO goes up to 512. How did the DUO not work with your reader, were you using the adapter? I don't see any downside to using the adapter, its the size of a regular stick anyways.

What is the difference between a regular Memory stick, and a Memory Stick Pro?

Comparison of Memory Sticks (http://www.memorystick.com/en/ms/variety.html)
The Pro ones are more performant and can have more capacity than the standard ones.
