I am going nuts here! I just purchased a Zire 71 from a friend. I was using Jack Sprat/Flash to clean out some stuff I knew I wouldn't use. I have somehow managed to delete a necessary file because now my PDA will NEVER turn off. Every time it goes to turn off be it by switch or timeout, I get a fatal alert.
Luckily I backed up the ROM to an SD card, too bad the card is corrupted!
I have used this program MANY times on other devices and NEVER had this happen!!!!
Is there ANYONE who would be willing to email me a Zire 71 ROM?
All you would have to do is back up your data, hard reset your device and create a new user with my hotsync ID. Load JackSprat and create a backup file to SD. Pull the backed up file and email it to me. When you are done, hard reset and reload your original backup.
If no one has a copy of Jack Sprat I'd be willing to give you my copy.
