I searched and searched, but I could not find this info, so I'm sorry if this has been posted before...
I just got a 1gb CF card for My NX73. I was curious, so I installed the Movie Recorder and the Audio Player from a UX50 into my NX. I did a soft reset and went to those apps. Not only did they work, but they worked with built in Dual-Card support!! The Move recorder works great with the CF card, I can't tell a difference. You have an option of where to save the movie: Priority MS, MS and CF!! With the hacked Movie Player it all works great!!

You need to use McFile or Filez. It won't work using Clie Files. It must be installed to the card, you can't hotsync it.

The procedure I heard of was that you need to
1-install them via hotsync to the Memory Stick.
2-Then you copy them via Filez to ram.
3-Then do a reset.
Is that what you did?

Yes, that is what I did. I might have used McFile to copy the prc's to the handheld instead of Filez.

Why doesn't Clie Files work? I tried it and it worked fine for Audio Player. I copy apps all the time from MS to Memory and I haven't had problems... :)

when you refer to the hacked Movie player, what exactly do you mean??
......."You have an option of where to save the movie: Priority MS, MS and CF!! With the hacked Movie Player it all works great!!"......
Where can i get that one.

What I meant was the one for the UX with the 2 card support. Previously I was using Peleca's "hacked" version and that is why I refered to it that way. You can get it from my second link above.
