Does anybody in here have the same problem I do? I just downloaded the new update for the OS5 and after I installed it I had major problems At least to me it was. Every time I turned off the PDA and turned it back on I would get a fatal error. Then I would have to soft reset it. Then it would work untill I turned it off and start it up again. When my alarm was supposed to go off in the morning it didn't make a sound but it did turn on my Clie and since I didn't hear the alarm my PDA drained the battery and I lost my information recorded in it. So after I uninstalled it and did a hard reset everything appeared to work fine untill I tried to install all my applications. none of them worked correctly and I had the same problem all over again. So finally I had to delete Saved preference, Unsaved preferences, Soyn Preferences, Datebook, to do, memo pad and addresse DB and did a hard reset. after that there was no problems again except for one program that I could no longer set the way I wanted. Did anybody else who downloaded the new update have the same annoying problem? If so did any of you fix it so that it did work fine? I contacted Sony and they instructed me on how to fix my PDA. So I did it and I threw away the Update.
