It would be SO cool to listen to MP3's without the constant threat of the wired headphones/remote strangling me. You shouldn't have to strategically route cables through your shirt when getting dressed in the morning. ;-)

I heard Kenwood was working on this (an article from April 2002)
There is certainly lots of *cel phone headsets* but I think this is different.

This is about the only product I could find:

Not sure if such a thing would work with the CLIE.
Any insights?

Go bluetooth.

Sorry, not with the current system support.

The CLIE (PalmOS actually) does not support the "Headset profile" (one of the many optional parts of the Bluetooth standard)

This is how cell-phones talk to their remote headsets, and how most people are creating bluetooth consumer audio devices.

The PC product you mentioned comes with its own Bluetooth adapter (plug into the USB port on the PC). I assume they implemented the Headset profile for their device.

Good luck trying to use it with any other PC bluetooth adapter.

I heard that SE is making BT MP3 for their phone with MS-DUO and of course with handfree function working for SE phone... available this year sometimes...
