Hey guys,

I have seen lots of articles on cases - and in fact I have a super leather Vaja one. However what I am looking for now, is a *sport* case - so I could theoretically use my NX70 when at the gym.

Leather is obviously inappropriate as sweat (eww) would stain and discolour any leather case. A hard case isn't very useful either (like the aluminum ones) given that they have no way of attaching to your body, short of going in a pocket which I won't have either.

I thought for a second, that I could just hold it, but that only works when running, obviously not a solution when lifing weights or similar.

Seems the only options I can find are:

Proporta neoprene zippered case

RhinoSkin sport cases

These guys seem to have the most useful ones:

GrinderGear

Now most of the above just seem like "sacks" which you would still have to affix to a belt - which I won't have... and I really don't want a fanny pack or something retarded looking. :-)

Basically I think something that would strap securely to the upper arm or to your upper thigh, or perhaps affixed in a secure and flush way about your hip or chest (ok, not so good for the ladies) - perhaps mounted sideways with minimal padding and bulk.

One possibility which is kinda odd would be to wear a shoulder-rig much like the police/SWAT... I mean you would look like a loon but hey my manager wears one every day to work. ;-)

It just seems a waste to spend another 200-300 CDN on a dedicate MP3 player when I already have an NX.

So who does athletic stuff with their NX/NR and how do you carry it about? Suggestions?

Thanks a LOT
DukeTogo

I have the neoprene one from proporta and have a strap, similar to the one that came with the NX (hand-strap), but is much longer, enough for me to use like a shoulder/holster strap, if you know what I mean ... Slung over my head and rests on my back if loose, or I tighten the strap up to cling to my body whilst I'm at the gym ... Hope that helps ...
