once upon a time, i had a visor platinum.
and on this visor, i had an app (or maybe a hack).

this app, or hack, let me do the following:
1. visor is 'off'
2. i press, AND hold, a hardware button (e.g., memopad)
3. visor turns 'on'
4. a big clock (with the current time) is displayed
5. i let go of the button
6. clock goes away
7. visor turns 'off'

does this ring a bell with anyone?
i've been racking my mind, and doing all sorts of wierd searches
trying to come up with the app, or combination of apps (hacks, whatever)
i might have been using, but i keep coming up blank.

thanks in advance.

is it called clockpop? I seem to remember an app like that too.

i think that's it. the name doesn't ring a bell, but the display is really familiar ...

i was afraid it was gonna turn out to be a hack. i'm not holding out
much hope of it working on my ux50 ...

thanks for the help.

i just noticed that ClockPop5 v5.0b1 is available and it lists OS5 as
supported. maybe there's hope yet.

i'm too tired to mess with it now, but i'll definitely check it out tomorrow.
