SanDisk 256 MS Pro $24.99 after rebates

Went to Circuit City last night (11-22-04) to buy the advertised SanDisk 256 MS Pro (pink) for $44.99 after $10 rebate and instant savings. They were sold out; however, they had a sale tag on the SanDisk 256 MS Pro with MagicGate (blue) for $24.99 after three $10 rebates.

The website doesn't list them so maybe Circuit City won't be carrying them any longer. Great deal if this sale is nationwide. The store in Woodbury, MN had many available.

I saw this offer on techbargains.com too (Nov 22), but the discounts are based on sending in three seperate $10 rebate forms with each rebate requiring the original UPC code. I called up the rebate center today and asked if they would accept a copy of the UPC code on the other two forms and I was told no, so really, only 1 - $10 rebate can be redeemed with this offer.

Real price: $54.99-$10 rebate = $44.99+tax. (not $24.99)

I'm banning circuit city for these kinds of deceptive discounts.

Staples Black Friday Sales has this deal: 512MB MEMORYSTICK PRO (521746) $59.94, no mention of any rebates.

I was told at Circuit City to mail all three together, they all go to the same PO Box.

The rep I spoke to at 888-701-7637 said the rebates had to be mailed in seperate envelopes, so there's an inconsistency. I hope those rebates work for you; $25 for 256megs MS Pro is a good price if it pans out.

I received three $10 rebate checks today for this offer so it was valid.
