What are your opinions on this product, which syncs Agendus on the PDA to the desktop?

I have demo'd it but . . . I really wish it integrated with Outlook. That would be cool. ;) Is it more useful if you also use iambic mail? Am I missing something here or is this a lame product?

I did the demo as well and it did seem very lame. I will continue looking for a desktop application that can produce visually appealling and printable calendars so my wife can see what is going on. I use DateBk and frequently print out the monthly calendar views from the Clie Desktop application. It works but I guess I am just a little too obsessed with the aesthetics of everything.

It's an ongoing topic at the Yahoo Datebk group site but if anyone has any ideas, then PLEASE share them.

I think it's a great product. It will synchronize your data with both Palm Desktop AND Outlook. The printing feature is coming soon, and there's even talk of an e-mail client down the road!

If I run them both, my memos and my email are in Outlook, and datebook and todos are in both, only the pretty colors and icons are in Agendus Windows. So I come up short of a full blow solution (assuming colors and icons is important) with either app. When Agendus for Windows will do POP3 email and memos, then they'll be onto something!

But can you print out the calendars from Agendus windows or only from Outlook. Are the printing capabilities for Agendus windows something on the horizon?

Printing features are very high on Iambic's "ToDo" list.

John -- is there anyway to keep Agendus from throwing in the icon & color coding text info into Outlook notes fields? Apart from not using colors and icons?

I like using the icons etc. on the Clie but I really don't care for those extra lines of useless text in the Outlook database.

Unfortunately, no! If you edit them out of the Outlook notes field, the icons, color will be removed from Agendus on the PDA the next time you sync. I've become accustomed to just ignoring those lines.

To turn this into a benefit, you could copy and paste those lines into a new appointment that you're creating in Outlook and the icon and color will be there in Agendus.

Nice idea! I'll create a little template file on the most-oft used ones. I've always really relied on Outlook, not the handheld, for my schedule but I think I may be using the handheld more, particularly in the first half of the month.

So, here's another question - anyway to get Agendus or the built-in datebook to snooze for specific periods of time for different appointments after the first alarm? In Outlook, for example, if I have something I need to get done today I will hit snooze for 2 hours or 4 hours all day long until I get it done. My resident nagger <g>.

Pretty sure Agendus isn't flexible with the snooze feature being different for individual appts.

Watch out with Agendus, I hardly use Outlook's calendar any more. My PDA with Agendus is always more handy! :)
