WiFi to internet via Mac

I have an NX70. If I purchase the WiFi card, is it possible to connect to my Apple Powerbook which has an airport card installed and then reach my internet connection (ethernet to cable modem)?

It should, but I am not a MAC person, sounds like you'll want to run in adhoc mode.

I'm trying to connect my NX70 using the WiFi card and a shared Aiport connection through the Aiport Card on a Mac and it doesn't work.
Could someone tell me exactly what I have to do to make it work? Thank you in advance.
