I miss one from my m505...
my cell is always on "vibrate"...

I really wish I had that option. I hate alarms going off in class, even though I occasionally need a reminder about something class-related.

The vibrate feature on my phone is vital but I don't think this feature on a clie would be too important to me. Well it would be nice, there are a lot of other things I would rather have Sony implement first.

that is something that I def need and want. My clie is always in my pocket, and like narnia said, its kinda annoying to have it go off in class/work. I also am in loud places a lot so instead of NOT hearing my alarm, I can feel it.

I think a vibrate option would be nice.

My Clie is usually in my shirt pocket with the headphones plugged-in and I have missed a couple of alarms.

My Clie PEG T615c HAS a vibrate option.

I thought they all did.

I think they got rid of the vibrator because the bigger Clies are just too heavy and require a bigger vibrator to jiggle the Clie.

How about having a Vibrating MS+128Mb within for the mean time? I am sure it is makeable...

My T665C has it too. You can turn it on under Preferences -> General. You can also set the alarm to flash the LED too.

I thought all new Clies have this.

This is the biggest thing I gave up switching from the Palm m500 to the NR. I work in theatre, and even the slightest noise (like that annoying camera sound that can't be turned off) going off during rehearsal could cause everyone in the room to stare in disapproval. Right now I have to keep my NR with its screen open in my line of sight so I can see it turn on when an alarm goes off, but I always have to be checking it, and it doesn't help if I get up from my desk. But I'm one of those people waiting for the perfect Clie with T form-factor and VG, so hopefully if they ever make one they'll keep the vibrate feature.

But, won't a vibrate feature shake the Clie apart eventually?

Didn't know that Sony eliminated the vibration function in the newer clam-type units. I know for sure that the T series have it - my 665 does.

I would use a vibrate alarm function all the time if it was built into an NX or NZ type unit.

On some cell phones you can buy a vibrating battery. I've been looking for this for the NX...

I didn't know some Clies have a vibrate option. I wonder if my T415 has it.

I think a vibrating option is absolutely necessary. Does the TG50 have it?
