I am at a complete loss. I am a doctor who uses my recently purchased Clie NX60 for scheduling surgery, epocrates, and money management (Splashmoney, which is great by the way)

I would like to be able to access email and IM from my Clie but can somebody please give me the info on how to go about it? Should I buy the Wireless card or do I use bluetooth? And what is bluetooth? And does the NX60 have bluetooth? I have a couple more days to return the Clie and think that the TG50 may be a better fit for me. I saw that it has bluetooth.......As you can probably tell, I am not well-versed in wireless and really am in need of some help as I would like to use all that my Clie has to offer.

Thank U very much for your help.

There is a thread on this already in the NX forum.

I use and recommend the Bluetooth option. I use a BT memory stick swith a Clie NR 70V, of course newer models have BT built in. But you need a BT enabled phone (I use the Sony T68i) works well, although the configuration was intially tricky since the BT memory stick was European and AT&T wireless does not support this set up, this forum helped quite a bit in getting it right.

The reason I use that is that I have one plan with AT&T for voice and data and can control the costs vs. with wi fi you're paying charges for hot spots etc. (you never have a way to connect to the web on your own).

The downside is that GPRS is much more limited than even GSM so the solution doesn't work everywhere, if you have a GSM phone with BT see if you get GPRS where you're likely to be to help decide.
