It is absolutely fabulous for us SONY 4.1 Sonyhires Datebk5 users. v3bhacks no longer required for HiRes Datebk5 icons.

I will be posting preview #8 this weekend and this has support for auto-scaling of high-density icons and also handling of high-density icons on OS4 Clie's plus several other fixes as well.

This will then eliminate the need for Vbhack for some users - although others may want to use it obviously for other applications, application icons, etc.

BTW - thanks for all your research and efforts here - they are really appreciated. I would not have included the support for OS4 clies were it not for the fact that Chris provided some of his routines that he had worked out, thereby saving me a lot of time figuring out some of the issues....

How do I get on the Beta test team? I have emailed them and am a very proud owner of DateBk5. I love the software and would really like to take advantage of the high resolution icons soon on my T665. Where can I get it if it is available now?

CESD will release new versions to the forum periodically. Just check the forum periodically and if a new version has been released, you'll know it ;-) There will be dozens of replies to the announcement email... you can't miss it!

Yes - p8 is the latest. You can also find the latest beta on the Pimlico page. www.pimlicosoftware.com. Then click on the DateBk5 link and look on the right side of the page.

They also always show up in the files section here at ClieSource.

I need some help in understanding why my high res icons can be seen in the day view but some cannot be seen in my week and month views. Anyone know how I can fix this???

Week and month view use the lo-res icons. If your hi-res icons don't have corresponding lo-res versions (tap and hold in IconMgr to check), they won't show up in those views.

Now where was that highly crucial bit of information in the instructions that I mulled over for hours... maybe it was there and I was too tired that I just didn't see it... lol. Thanks for your help!

Another question... I tried to convert to a lower resolution one of my icons and it locked up my PDA... is this normal or did I just encounter something weird?

It happened again... any thoughts on why my PDA keeps locking up like it is doing? Are there certain Icons that it cannot convert?
