It's pricey (on sale for $29.00 bundled with WordComplete) but worth it.

I've always felt the graffiti area and/or the recognition wasn't as good on my T615 as on actual Palms. It was likely due to a smaller graffiti area on the Clie. Now with Jot, the whole screen is a graffiti area, with visible "Ink". This is the next best thing to VG.

Now with my Tungsten, I can keep the slider closed an still graffiti.

The NX & NZ Clies have visible 'ink'.  If you wanted the ability to 'write anywhere' on your pda, you should have checked out the free alternatives first.  Both NewPen & Graffiti Anywhere work well from what I've read.

Jot will be incorporated into Palm OS 5.2, anyhow.

Ahh. I wish I heard about NewPen sooner. Graffiti Anywhere is a "hack" so I'm not sure about OS 5 compatibility.

Well looking at the documentation for both Newpen and Grafitti Anywhere, looks like they both are supported on OS5.

One feature that I don't like in both of them is having to "enable" the on-screen graffiti using a hot-key or pen-stroke. That's just my preference though.

I've been using jot off and on for two years. And I love it. They just updated and I'm no problems. Easy for my girlfriend. who is knew to palms to learn also.

It's funny though. I never seem to forget the graffiti strokes when I need them.

I just bought Jot and love it, too. I bought TealScript trying to get it to learn my handwriting with their new 2.77 beta program. I read someone in hear talking about it and I wanted to try it. After only a few minutes, I knew this is what I was looking for. I paid the entire $39.00 and am enjoying it a lot. I think the WordComplete version does not have Jot or it has an older version. The newer version is completely compatable with all of my applications including DateBK5... which appeared to be a problem before.
