The theory is that clie source purged all the threads so there would not be a record of the driver contest there by keeping all the money. The site is not faster since they purged all the threads. Of course I am sure pay pal has a record of all donations.

since it was not a REQUIREMENT to post how much you donated in the threads, that makes no sense what so ever....

Since I doubt anyone keeps their accounting software on a public access server in this day and age of hackers.... also no sense what so ever....

Since paypal keeps extremely good records.... more than likely you crashed it to cover up your score on the "unintellegence test"....

Number one: The theory is stupid and really not worth the post.

Number two: I agree that only members should be permitted to post. Most of the worst rumors I have heard on this site came from people who you couldn't contact for verification.

Number three: When you consider how valuable this site is and how many longstanding members there are, I really don't care if anything changes. I can put up with the occasional joker from time to time. This is still the first site I go to to find information and discuss issues about the Clie. I love it. I was a Palm user prior and I don't think that I would be enjoying my Clie half as much if I didn't learn so much here.

Not interested in supporting the conspiracy, but more interested in the truth about the CF Drivers themselves. I am new to the Clie world and wanted to know if there were a few folks making any progress.

I would rather have a nice CF card with say 1GB that I can use like a large HDD rather than a MS. Just a thought. And as a registered user I agree that "guests" should not be able to start new threads.
