Tealbackup

I currently have Tealbackup on trial, and the program seems to work quite well. It has a number of nice options, such as (1) automated scheduled backup, (2) restoring individual files, and (3) the backup of files that are only new or have changed (making a backup much faster). I am aware of backup programs that can do the first two (e.g. BackupbuddyVFS), but which other backup software can do the third one?

I believe BackupBuddy VFS has this feature as well. The first backup takes a little while but after that, its much faster. This makes me think that it only backs up newer files.

I was hoping beta 1.06 of TealBackup would allow me to backup to the SD card on my T5 but NOPE. :( It just keeps trying to send everything to my internal drive and I can't find anything that allows me to choose my backup destination.

I own BBVFS but I get the impression that they are in no hurry to make it T5 friendly so I'm looking around.

I did get some problems with scheduled backups with Tealbackup, possibly due to a conflict with MsMount. I now have Cardbackup. It works fine on my TE, and it specifically supports MsMount. Also, customer service was very good. The trial version does not include scheduled backups. When I mailed the developer about this, he did send me the full version immediately! I bought it today. It's cheaper than Tealbackup and Backupbuddy (it costs $12), and the website (www.jkware.com) promises free upgrades for life. I do not know whether it supports the T5, but just try it and if does not work, contact the developer.

thanks, I'll check out Cardbackup.
I emailed Tealpoint about the card/internal drive issues with the T5 and was surprised to get a response from them so fast.
