I just downloaded a short movie clip using the Picture gear and then played it using the gMovie player and it's all blurry. What did I do wrong?

It's not what you did wrong, it's what Sony did wrong. They didn't add hi-res support to gMovie. I recommend you download the Kinoma player, which supports hi-res. Only problem is that you have to buy Kinoma Producer for $30 if you want to convert your own videos.

I hear that the new SJ22 comes with Kinoma player pre-installed.. does anyone know if it also comes with Kinoma Producer on cd? (it would seem a bit daft without it)

Like the SJ33, Kinoma Producer is trial software. Though this app makes MPEG files compatible with the Clie, the bundled version is a demo, good for only one day and able to convert just 15 seconds of video.

Go to http://www.google.com and search with this string: PDA.BY. I cannot tell you more. Just do it and find Kinoma Producer that way!

Looks like a russian warez site to me.

The people of Cliesource don't like anything to do with warez.
