How About a New Flash Player Upgrade?

I would love to be able to play flash content that was made in flashMX on my palm, and possibly connect to the net and play stuff from like purevolume.com or homestarrunner.com. I think we oughta get together and e-mail Macromedia and ask for an update for us few people who actually use the Flash Player on our palms.

Thats never going to happen, yes- it would be nice, but its not gonna happen. There are programs out there that allow you to open and then save flash files uncompressed so some of them do work. They are not going to do "an update for us few people who actually use the Flash Player on our palms." I use it, but a few people are not going to get them to update it.

Ok, I see what you are trying to say. I wish they would do an update because alot of the newer toons on homestarrunner.com simply won't play because they are made in a newer version of flash. Maybe theres some way we could do an update ourselves, develop a way to do just what we want. I can, and already do save flash files (usally I look at the pages source code, i.e. a toon on homestarrunner.com, and take the swf file from it and then replace toon.html with the swf file name, toon.swf), and then save page as in mozilla firefox and it works, also works good to save quicktime movies that are in kiosk mode or saving is supposed to be disabled on.
