Hey everybody, after some searching and a little dowloading i'm still at a loss. I use my TH as part of a GPS-related sport (www.geocaching.com if you're curious). I download these ebook files that have links in them like a web page, which MOBIPocket supports, but mobi does NOT do Fullscreen which i NEED. Ereader does fullscreen just fine, but I opened the file and it looks like raw HTML. I'm so frustrated with this, I'd be willing to even PAY for an ebook reader at this point. Any ideas guys? Any other Geocachers out there with a TH?

Are you sure Mobireader doesn't support fullscreen? By full screen, do you mean full 320x480?

Mobipocket Reader Pro v4.6 does fullscreen.
It was something that irked me too, and someone clued me in.

MP 4.8 only display texte in 320x320 (the full screen mode is only a 320x320 display with no title and no status bars)

I've never bothered with the mobipocket output, probably because I tried MobiPocket reader ages ago and it didn't support my then N610C. My current solution relies on gpx files, Geocachers Swiss Army Knife (website (http://gsak.net)) and Plucker.
- select gpx files instead of mobibook files as your pocket query output from the member options
- open GSAK and load the gpx files into a database, run a query if needed to get the subset for output into HTML
- export waypoint subset to HTML
- parse the HTML files into plucker, starting with the index.html file and using a depth of 3.
This process lets me use varying size fonts, and I can even rotate the HTML files individually to horizontal format. Hope this helps!!

Can you explain how to make 4.8 Pro display 320x480?
I uninstalled 4.6, installed 4.8 and I get 320x320 on my TH55.
Just for kicks I then tried to install the Sony OS4 version, but it locked my TH55 up.
My computer also kept telling me the files in your download "didn't exist".
I DLed 4.8 Pro from the www.mobipocket.com site.
I'm back to 4.6 for now.
EDIT
It could well be that I'm clueless somehow or something, BTW. ;)
I'd like to know how to give Mobipocket Reader Pro different fonts too! (4.6 appears to give me 2.)

I just downloaded the link again..zip file has 5 files. The download is also 4.8, just a different build. It allows you to lower the silk to get 320X480. The original 4.8 from Mobi site doesn't let you lower the silk. This update does.

That's great! Thanks for clearing that up for me!
Lemme go back and try this all again! :D
EDIT
Okay, v4.8 is working great, and my fonts are fixed too!
Entering my reg code was interesting too. I'm very glad it all works!
Thanks again!!

Mobipocket keeps locking up on me, the one on their site as well as this version.
Any ideas why?

Found the culprit, a book file that wasnt fully loaded to the device.

VectorMan,
Forget MobiPocket. All you need is an $8 app that is really made for Geocaching (I wonder why Geocaching.com is not mentioning it). It's called CacheMate:

hi everybody,
what is your experience with mobipocket on TH55? Isn't the program slow ?
I need this app because of medical ebooks only available with this (horridly slow)reader.
I currently have a NR70V, it takes 24 seconds to open the ebook !!! (it's a 13.5Mo file though...)
I was thinking about buying a T5, but would prefer the TH55...
Thanks for helping

Good Morning-
I did not know you were a 'cacher too, Reggie? So am I. I started doing it in 2001. It has really become popular. But since I encourage everyone I talk to to participate I can hardly be surprised.
And I have been using Cachemate for awhile now. Nice little program.
