I just bought a TG50, my first Clie. I downloaded Missing Sync, but can't get it to work. Is it not supported yet because it is a new model? Has anyone been able to sync a TG50 yet with a Mac?

Hi -

I was told today by MarkSpace that MissingSync 3.0.5 supports both NZ90
and TG50.

I'll let ya know in a few days - my TG50 arrives tomorrow, and I arrive from Japan the day after. ;^)

Yes, it works with the TG50. When I downloaded the Missing Sync for the first time, it actually gave me 3.0.4, then I had to go back and download the update to get to 3.0.5, which works great (I'm using OS 10.2.4 on a TiBook).

The only problem I have, is sometimes the HotSync won't connect, but if I unplug and then re-plug the USB, it will work again.

Yep. Bought TMS the day my TG-50 arrived. Works like a charm.

Has anyone been able to view movies moved to the TG50 using Missing Sync? Also, iCal or Palm Desktop?

hi,

i don't remember how i moved the spiderman trailer to the memory stick... i think i sync'd it over and kinoma wouldn't see it. i read the readme that came with kinoma and it said to place the file into a certain directory - i did and it worked... sorry so vague. when i move another trailer over i'll take better notes.

as far as sync'ing ical i can do that with no problems. i can sync apple's address book with no problems. i don't use the palm desktop.

You can view MPEG-1 movies on the Clie without conversion, but it's a fairly specific process. Check out my review, should be in another thread in this forum.
