WIFI and Hotsync

I have tried the hotsync using wireless LAN .No luck.I couldn;t get it done.
I have read lot of answers in this forums about WIFI hotsync and i tried the each options users recommeded.
I can use WIFI for browsing successfully but HOTSYNC is not working..

I have ROUTER,PERSONAL firewall installed on my PC.i Turned off the firewall also but still couldnt get it..

Can someone give me a step by step setup.

In the palm hotsync app the settings must be:

Modem Sync Prefs: Network
Lansync Prefs: Local hotsync
Primary PC Setup:
Primary PC Name: !!
Primary PC address: (your computers ip address)
Subnet mask: leave blank

On your computer, click the hotsync icon and make sure there is a check beside network. Go into setup and click the network tab. Make sure your hotsync name is listed as the primary name, with a check beside it.

To find your computers ip, click the network icon in the status bar, and go to the support tab. It is listed as ip address.

Wow..it works now..only changes i made is instead of my PCname i put !! symbol.it works now..

That was a FANTASTIC piece of info!!!!! I had been farting around with the WiFi sync on & off for a couple of months and never could get it to work!!!

How did you figure that out or where did you get the info. It was a large nugget of GOLD!!! :D :eek: :D

Thanks guys...totally cool. I just set up my wireless network last night, and am still getting used to web browsing on the Clie. Didn't realize I could hotsync wirelessly too. Very helpful info.
