Hi all,
I am thinking of purchasing a memory stick pro for addtional storage but i think restoring from it will be a hassle. How do you guys restore using a memory stick pro. Do you need to have a memory stick with the pro drivers on it. Is the operation simple and flawless. What are the issues one can encounter.
thanks

I just got a MS pro last week :D, and just tried a backup, hard reset and restore without problems. I have a NX80 btw, and it may/probally will depend on your Clie model.

maybe ask in NX series section (http://www.1src.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=58) for more users of them.

The NX60/70 might give you a bit of a hassle in restore if you had to hard reset, because the MS Pro drivers are not native in ROM like they are on the NX73/80 models. With the 60/70, you should always have a non-PRO memory stick handy that has all the updates including the MSPro driver, your Compact Flash driver, and your backup software. You will have to reinstall them in the event of a hard reset, before you'll be able to read a Memory Stick Pro or Compact Flash card.
Once you've reinstalled them, then you can switch out the cards and do your full restore from the MSPro.
