I've been unable to log on to 1src since 24th June!!! :( Where have you been?!?! I can't describe the withdrawals!! Couldn't even contact you to let you know that I was cut off! Gave my ISP a very hard time but they couldn't help! And now, not having given up hope altogether, I tried again and there you were!! :D - as if by magic! Can anyone explain what happened and how it might be avoided in future??!! Some friends and family here in the UK could get you and others, like me, could not. Any information would be very be very much appreciated. Anyway, it's great to be back. (Gratitude to the Cyber gods ;)

Maybe you just needed to delete your browser's cookies and try again. :D

Thanks for the speedy reply but we had already done that without any positive result. Any other ideas? My partner still can't get you on his PC and it's only upstairs!

Try a dns flush.

1. Go to Start > Run...

2. Type this in: ipconfig /flushdns

Reboot computer and see if you can access it now.

Thanks Dags. I'm making a note of your suggestion for the recalcitrant PC upstairs. But, hey, you're back on my screen again today so I don't want to do anything to this setup. It's great to have something at least to try if I lose you all again.

BTW, there's a Coventry City supporter who seems to be a long way from home. I hope this isn't because you were sent to Cov.... No, of course not!

Lol! No I managed to escape, and these days hiding very far away when supporting Cov seems like the sensible thing to do. ;)

Let us know if it worked on the upstairs machine.

It's such a mystery! Tried the 'dns flush' but no luck. We're doing yet another series of scans on the PC. Whatever is going on appears to be quite unpredictable and it seems possible that I could lose the connection on this machine any day. Any other ideas?

I suspect Coventry are at least less erratic than Brighton & Hove Albion, our local team.
