I was at Circuit City today, when I saw they had the TG50 I've been wanting. I picked it up, but I also noticed they had the SJ22 as well! Just to let you know, the SJ22 does not come in the standard Sony green box when you go looking for it. It is in a light brown box, with Sony Green stripes and is rather small.
As for an up close look of it, think of what a PDA would look like if a SJ20 and SJ30 had kids. Yeah, it has the SJ30's screen, plus it has what looks like a mix of the two's front pieces and body. It's body is about the same shade of the SJ30, but it's hard to say because that one wasn't on display anymore.
My thoughts about are that it's too little too late, and if sony wants to sell the SJ22 like mad they should drop the price to $180 in two months. For those looking at upgrading to a color Sony model and don't want the extras the SJ33 offers, and are deciding between the SJ22 and SJ30 I say go for the SJ30. It can be had for $20 more in some places still, and comes with the worthwhile program Documents to Go.
