Remote Commader on SJ-33?

I just got my brand new SJ-33 a few days ago. It is quite powerful and I am very happy with it. I was surprised though that it doesn't come with software to act as a remote control like some other "cutting edge" Cliés have.

a. Does anyone know the IR capabilities of the SJ-33 (transmitting power etc.)?
b. Where does one get the software to have it act as a remote (if this is even possible)?

1) It's a NON-enhanced IR, so it has a short range.

2) Either search these forums or google.com

They should have a high-power IR MS.

But I've heard that people can get 5' with this kind of IR. However, this should be impossible because "enhanced" also means it works over greater frequencies. I can get exactly 0"0' range using the IR on my SJ30.
