other than to convert to mp3 (using various apps) and dragging and dropping via MS Import, I have no idea. though it never hurts to read the manual....

Rip the songs off the CD and move them to your MS.

via mp3 ripping software and ms import. I use the ripper that came with my sound card 4 years ago but I'm sure there is better stuff out there. We can't hold your hand at every urinal, you could do a "SEARCH"......

a tad bit harsh, don't you think? we all needed help at one time or another and didn't know where to look or what to do. if newbie posts offend you, just don't answer. some people may not know enough about forums to do a search.

just my $.02

I leaned a great deal about computers by bad guesses, lucky finds, a lot of crashes, and BIG mistakes. I didn't ask for help from anyone for 3 years. And nowadays I only ask really hard questions that take people a while to think of the answers to.

While pigburger has a good point, I agree that it was "slightly" harsh but not too far off the mark.

I apologize, I was feeling a little "edgy" last night. I hope I didn't scare anyone away from the board.

So, 'How is it possible'?

The freeware version of MusicMatch does a fine job of converting CDs to MP3 files that you can then transfer to your NR70 using MSImport. The MP3s go in a directory on MS called /PALM/PROGRAMS/MSAUDIO

Hope this helps, get ripcd from tucows - it's free, put your cd into the pc and then follow the online instructions from ripcd.

Save the ripcd in a file you can find

Open MS export and move from the file your music into MS export and it should move across, watch out for the bps don't make it to high

Agree with Sebring - been using MusicMatch for ripping for a while now. works great and is pretty intuitive. Definitely use MSImport vs. hotsync - the latter can take days!

Sorry to be off the topic, but just saw "the whale" from parmesian's link and I've not laughed THIS hard for awhile :))

And yes, you can rip the CD on your PC into MP3s using various commerical or free softwares (I have a free version of Real JukeBox). Then simply transfer the MP3 files via MSImport as benroa mentioned.
