I have looked for and failed to find a memo replacement that has tabs (A-C, D-F, etc.) so I can quickly move to memo instead of having to scroll through the list.
Can anyone direct me to such a program?
Many thanks,
Bob Setzer, Jr.

Can you perhaps just grafitti the first character of the filename, and have the app jump to it? Some apps honour that..

Try Shadow, Thoughtmanager or Bonsai.
I'm currently evaluating Bonsai, and I like it so far.

Bob, there's an "old" program, I think on PalmGear or Freeware Palm called Alpha Memo. It's free and you can file memos under alphabet letters. If you can't find it, let me know and I will email it to you. It may be just what you're looking for. (I don't think it's OS5). Works great on my NR70V. Cindy.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried them all. AlphaMemo came closest to what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, it doesn't integrate with existing memos; apparently, it only works with memos made within the AlphaMemo program. Given my large number of existing memos, that's a deal breaker for me.
Maybe what I'm looking for doesn't exist. If not, I wish some savvy programmer would write a hack or program so existing memos could be accessed with a Tab interface (A-C, D-E, etc.) rather than having to scroll down through them.
Thanks for trying
Bob

I know this is really dumb, but why not.
How about you create categories ABC, DEF, etc and group yourself the memos under those categories?

This is a simple and brilliant idea! I think I'm going to use it for myself. Thanks.

There is also 2D memo which is hi res, working with existing memo DB and you can even jacksprat away the memo program. It converts the selected memos to postits you can move around. Not exactly what you are looking for but another alternative.
