VZ90 Day "5".
[Probably the last in this series]
It is said, a picture is worth 1000 words (not to mention a few $ spent):

Photos don't do justice, but this one photo shows a number of PalmOS 5.x devices showing the exact same image (480x320). Also the Archos movie player (320x240 screen) is on the bottom.
-----
Commentary/My Conclusions:
The photo is a little blurry. For closeup photos see suggestions below. This photo is meant to show the comparative brightness and color depth of the display (especially in the greens)
The VZ90 (middle center) is by far the best image. This photo doesn't do it justice.
The NZ90 (middle right) is the 2nd best.
Arguably the TapWave (top center) is the 3rd best.
The remainder of the pack are very similar, and good, but not great (ie. 480x320 PDAs in the $300->$$400 range use similar quality components)
Your T3 screen may be better than the one in the photo.
The Archos movie player is displayed on the bottom, but it is a smaller screen (320x240) and not a PDA.
Note: The image is from the Dolphin MPEG sample video (deeper greens)
My general advice is: if you see a JPG showing that the VZ90 display looks better than the competition, realize it looks *much* better in real life.
----
In brighter light, the VZ90 usually comes out ahead. I haven't been able to take good photos to illustrate.
In very bright light, you start to see reflections off of the stylus digitizer layer, but you can usually read the display (long after other PDAs are washed out)
---
If you haven't already please check out other photos, many of which show the bright reds of the OLED display
Photos from Clie Users Club (Japanese, especially at angles)
