Changing Tungsten icon on Isync to clie??

I know that I read somewhere that you change the Tungsten icon that shows up on iSync to a clie appearing one....

Since the crash of the forum I don't think I can search for that old thread...

Does anyone know how to do this???

yeah that's getting kind of annoying, but I don't know about changing it

unless someone finds out we'll have to live with it

I can change it. It is not difficult but requires Root access. It also requires a good icon to replace it. I think it is better to leave it alone since the tungsten looks quite good

Restart under Mac OS 9...and edit the files with a graphic app like Photoshop !
Restart under Mac OS X...your icon will be change.

Anyway to do it in X? If not, where are the files located to fix? The answers may be in the second half of the review but I can't read French. Thanks.

Restart your Mac under Mac OS 9 :

First, the direction in your Mac X :
System/
Library/
SyncServices/
PalmBladeConduit.bundle/
Content/
Resources/

At this point you'll find 7 tiff files...they are the icons of PDA showned in iSync :

Clie.tiff
M105.tiff
Palm-III.tiff
PalmSet.tiff
palmV.tiff
Treo.tiff
tungsten.tiff
Visor.tiff

Changes the look (in PSD) of all the files you want to modified...BUT NEVER NEVER NEVER CHANGE the name of those files.

Remarks : By default, the real Clie icon is the palmV.tiff...for the Clie who need MissingSync.

For the other (415,615,SL10...) the Clie icon is the right one.

Try this:
http://babelfish.altavista.com/
It will translate roughly half the page (don´t know why it stops halfways).
Mark & copy the block you want, and go back to babelfish;
paste the block, and it will translate it (w/o pic´s, though)
