clie n710 vs n760

Hi !
I read in a lot of reviews on internet, that clie n710, cant have more than 256 colors, while the n760 can have up to 16 bit colors...
is any way of maiking the n710 have 16 bit color?
I would appriciate any information related to this, and any other information in this 2 models on general information.

ya, but if I upgrade the N710 to palmos 4.1 I'll have 16 bit color?
I already read that post, but I didn't found information about the color esolution..

Basically there is only very very minor hardware differences between the N710 and N760. The main difference was the OS, OS 3.5 to 4.1. Here's a piece from the review.

"It (N760) has 16-bit color because it comes with Palm OS 4.1, which has support for that many colors. Until OS 4, the only PalmOS handheld with a 16-bit screen was the Visor Prism, and that only because Handspring wrote a special version of OS 3.5 to support it.

That's why the N710C had the same screen but could only display 8-bit color. Once Sony releases an update to bring the N710C to OS 4, it will have a screen the equal of the N760C's. "
