Hello!
I am pretty new to PDA, I do won a Clie N760C but most of the time mf gf use it. I am going to get a new palm for my b-day and want to purchase T|E.
I don't want to spend too much and the T|E listed price is right. One thing I am interested in to install GPS on T|E so that I can use it on my car. However, i couldn't find much info about GPS on T|E.
Perhaps someone can help me?

As far as I know there is no way for you to connect a GPS to the T|E. It's USB port doesn't have the serial connector pins activated.
Try to get a device with bluetooth. Budgetwise, the Zire 72 is a good candidate. You should be able to connect a GPS into it via wire or via wireless through bluetooth.
Check the current prices of the Zire 72 here:

I see...but Zire72 looks bulky comparing to T|E as I just went to Staaples during lunch.
Do u know if there is any SD card Bluetooth adapter?

PalmOne came out with one but it only works on OS 4 devices. See the ff review: http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/palm_BT.htm

I think I saw something that you could do GPS for the T E. However if your are looking to save money and thats why you are going with the T E then that isn't an option as I think it was like $200+ to get this thing. I'm going to search and see if I can find it again if so I'll post the link.

Ok I found it. Kirrio GPS kit for Tungsten E. I can't seem to locate a US dealer with it. Google searching shows this price on one site for it in the UK.
£249.99 I don't know how much that is in US$. I didn't even realize when I 1st saw it that the price wasn't US$. The other reason I overlooked it is the fact that I plan to upgrade from my T E to an OS6 model. I'm hoping they are coming in the spring like I read in a couple places. I don't think this is official release dates but they are supposed to have a lineup of devices coming out some time in the near future. I am also going to upgrade my phone to a blue tooth phone now that Sprint PCS has some coming and according to customer service it will cost me nothing in addition to what I already have to use it. I also want WiFi in case I am ever able to use that outside of home too. Both are also not options on the T E.

T|E that I am interested is about CDN$199 (refurbished). How do you like it StoneRyno?
I am hoping to install GPS, well at least a nice map to the Palm and I am assuming 32MB with T|E should be enough? As i am heading to US next year in Spring.
