V1.1.1 of RepliGo was released tonight, which fixes the problems with OfficeXP. I was one who had problems, and I tried this new version and it works fine for me. Great app!!

I just tried the demo version. While the pdf view is great but the loading time was incredibly slow. I tried a 473 KB file on memory stick and it took forever to load, something like a minute or 2, on my NX-60. I tried the same file (converted to iSilo format) with iSilo and it's almost instant. Is it just me or is Repligo this slow?
Thanks.

Thanks!

I downloaded the new version and all is well again, even got my Adobe Icons back too. Word no longer crashes and I agree, it's a great app!

To Mike,

I don't find it slow for me, so I don't know, nor did I compare it to iSilo. It certainly beats the pants off the Palm Acrobat Reader though.

Reading and scrolling through the pages is much faster than with acrobat reader. Only LOADING file from memory stick is extremely slow.

Well, I've been trying Repligo 1.1 for about 4 days with no problems. Decided to go ahead an load the latest 1.1.1, and now Word XP won't start...should have left well enough alone.

It fixed my problem with Word-XP. The issue was a clash with Wordsmith in Words normal.dot template file. At first it was thought, that the cause was Norton's anti-virus.

Did you uninstall and restart before installing the updated version?

Do a search for 'normal.dot' and rename it. Then restart word and see if it runs.

Ok, thanks. So at least I know it's not just me :-)

Repligo's loading time from memory stick was so slow that it's unusable for me. I have several pdf docs on MS that I need to refer to all the time and switching back and forth so the loading time is unacceptable for me. Guess I'll go back to pdftohtml and ghostscript with iSilo. Isilo loads the same docs almost instantly from MS (after converting it via pdftohtml->ghostscript->isilo) and is lightning fast.

Guess Repligo has to work on their MS load some more...

Speeding up the load times of large documents from a memory stick is on our todo list. We should be able to fix this in a future release.

Good advice. Please make sure your normal.dot gets rebuilt and please do a LiveUpdate with Norton AntiVirus if you use their software. Version 1.1.1 was tweaked to avoid touching normal.dot during a normal MS Word session. We cannot repair, however, any damage that may have already been done. I hope this works for you. If not, please contact support@cerience.com.

Dave, I just wanted you to know that we really appreciate the support you've given for this product here at Cliesource. Not too many developers would have followed the many threads here about your product and answered everyone here. I think it's really cool, and it has allowed everyone else to read what's going on and learn from others. Keep up the good work!!

Dave,

Once I installed version 1.1 on Win2k with Office 97, it also has problem with WordSmith. Now version 1.1.1 released. I uninstalled previous version and install new version from PalmGear. But my problem is I cannot pass the installation.

The error occure with

Could not add RepliGo printer port to your computer: 3006

Now I cannot install any version on my PC.

Can you please help me to solve this problem?

Did you close out of all other open apps before doing the uninstall? I would try uninstalling again with nothing else open, then reinstall and see if that works.

Thanks, Dave. I'm looking forward to your new version. Please note that I was not talking about large documents: my docs were only about from 400 KB to under 1 MB.
Thanks again.

Those sound large to me. I have a 7-page PDF with graphics, and it's only 107K, and a 57-slide PPT presentation with tons of graphics is 227K.

I think I saw your installer log file come through support. We will check it out.
