Contacts 4.12 pet peeve

Everytime I look up a number, leave the program and come back, the # is still there...is there a setting to refresh back to the main screen without clearing the original search/results?

This is really bugging me. I love the program but this is going to make me dump it if I can't figure it out. Help!

Doesn't seem to be happening to me...OK, I go into Contacts, tap an entry to go into the View Contact screen, tap Home to get out of program, and then go back into Contacts. I see my default view of the contact list with the alphabet bar at the top.

Do you see something different? Is this similar to your sequence of events?

I am running v4.12 on a Clie NX60.

same for me. would be interesting to hear what the reason for it doing that for you turns out to be though.

on a side note, about the only "pet peeve" i have it all the screen redraws when first loading up contacts 4 as well as when exiting from the view contact page to the normal view. other than that, i am in love with this app!

btw, nr70 with font hack being the only hack running.

Is Contacts better than SuperNames?

i would definitely suggest contacts over supernames.
