I just sold my iPaq on eBay. Now I am wondering which PDA to get next. I am leaning HEAVILY towards the T3. Palm One has them 'Blemished' for $259 with 64m sd and free shipping. Has anyone here ordered one of these or know someone who has. I am just wondering how 'blemished' they are.

I'd pay a little bit more and get a brand new one.

Thinking about the problems of brand new T3s, I wouldn't even consider a unit, which is called "blemished" by Palm1.

I bought my T|C from Overstock.com as a factory-refurbished "blemished" unit. The savings were just too good to ignore. In my case, it meant a unit with a new bar-code sticker on the back and a few light scratches visible where the device mates with the cradle -- marks I easily could have made myself on a new unit and a new cradle. As a bonus, my unit came with a screen protector (no idea of the brand). The front of the unit is indistinguishable from new. I can't guarantee yours would be that "perfect," but the blemish I got was far less than I expected.

Another thing to consider is whether the used device is covered by refund and warranty protection.
Most stores allow people to try a product and if they are not satisfied, to return in 30 days for a full refund. That may not be true for used devices.
A new Palm comes with a one year warranty = free repairs. Also anytime during that year the customer can purchase a second year of warranty for $50; that also includes a free screen replacement, even if the screen if physically broken, like from being dropped. Don't know whether the used device has the same options.
