I've been going through alot of the archivesas well as posted in the UX50 forum, but still find this dvd to pda vexing.
I took a dvd, ripped it to 4 VOB's with Decrypter then merged the 4 VOB's with File merger & named it with a mpeg ext . So now I have a 3Gb Mpeg that I tried to convert to MQV files directly to the MS with Image Converter 1.1. When I try to convert the file, its scans through it it 3 seconds like its done but the file it creates isn't official.
I also tried to convert the VOB with a program I have called WIN AVI Converter to MPEGs with a ton of different codecs but they were unsuccessfull as well.
If I convert each VOB file individually w/o merging them into a large file & use the built in Movie Player, the movie come on with fine quality, but the audio has about a 20 second delay to the picture.
I've also loaded the Media Launcher & tried to play some MP4 files I created. I have the MP4 files & they were created in their correct folder with IC2. The problem I have is when I try to play them in Full Movie Player I get Unsupported movie format & in Media Launcher it gives me a Jap/gibberish error message that I cant read although I can seea thumbnail of the movie. I would think the files are in a correct format sine IC2 created them...........
Anyways, is there anything I can do to correct this problem???
