Sonystyle USA shipped yesterday

According to FedEx tracking I received, the TG50 shipped yesterday (Thurs) and will arrive this afternoon (yes I paid for overnight delivery). I ordered Tuesday so I don't know if Sony shipped to everyone who ordered after that.

I'll register and put up a photo or to once I go through it tonight!

I ordered from sony yesterday and called customer care and they claim they are taking over 2 days to process orders even though the website says it only takes one business day.

Welll, whenever you get it, it will be before me and I'll be a bit envious. I'm waiting for the TG50 to be available in stores so I can get a warranty with it.

a note to other people planning on this: if you take any sealed box into your local Circuit City or Best Buy (BB for sure, CC most likely) you can purchase their 3-year replacement plan on it just as if you bought it there. you're basically purchasing insurance more than anything, and they really do make a killing on those plans.

Mine shipped today. I should get it Monday. I'll post my initial impression and maybe a pic or two Monday evening. But if someone can beat me to it, please do! I want to hear all about it and see some pictures...

when did you order it? I ordered mine on Thursday and it didn't ship yesterday. Something tells me I won't get it on monday now.

I ordered at about 11pm Central on Thursday. I already picked up one at compusa, though so I'll be refusing sony's shipment. I going to be demostrating some software during a business meeting Tuesday and I need to work on somethings this weekend. Wish I hadn't ordered from sonystlye as I'm out the shipping charges. Oh, well. My fault for jumping the gun. I just thought that, based on what the retailers were telling me, it wouldn't be available until mid-next week.

I probably ordered about 8 eastern, two hours earlier and mine didn't ship. Go figure.
