Clie T665 accessories for Europe trip?

Hi all,

I'm traveling to Europe in two weeks for a conference and I'd like to bring my clie with me to listen to music and entertain myself during the long plane rides.

I'm curious as to what accessories I need. Obviously I need a charger that plugs into a European wall outlet. Anyone have any info
on those or any ideas on what other accessories to buy?

The AC Power Adapter that comes with the 665 is multi-voltage - good in Europe and the US. All you need are adapter plugs so you can plug it into the European outlets.

I usually find those adapter plugs at Radio Shack. You will need different plugs for different countries depending on where you go. The plugs are well labelled with a list of the countries that they are good for.

Otherwise that is all you should need.

Believe it or not, I don't think you absolutely need a charger to go to Europe, although I would suggest you take the AC Charger with you.

You can buy a USB Sync Charger Cable for $19.99 from Best Buy. The one I bought was made by Belkin, Model # F8Y1100 for Sony Clie PEG-T Series.

This uses the USB port of any PC to charge the T665. Since USB is standard throughout the world, you can charge on any PC or notebook, if available. I suggest you get one of these USB/Auto Rechargers and take along your AC adapter just in case.

Here's the info. from the Besy Buy web site: (I bought my USB Synce Charger in a local Best Buy store. They also have a model that has USB and a serial port, in case you need to connect to an older PC without a USB port. This costs about $10. more. Good Luck! Alan)

We just use it a bit more sparingly that you guys in the States:-)
