Does anybody know, when there will be drivers for the Palmone Wifi-SD-Card for the T5?

By the end of the year. P1 is working on new drivers.

Palm platform really needs something like SD I/O standard of the Pocket PC/Windows Mobile. Where one peripheral will work for all, this piecemeal driver update is stupid. While it keeps people from buying from other vendors, I doubt the monetary benefit it worth the lost sales (from end-users and especially businesses who hates such fragmentations). Palmsource (and PalmOne) should wake up!!!

P1 should have had Wifi card drivers ready for the T|T5 from Day 1.

They still might. The official ship date for the T5 was November 5. Yeah I know we all have them already, but this is the date when I expect they need to have drivers out by.

Isn't SDIO a hardware standard? And aren't the SD slots on the Palm devices supposedly SDIO? (I know the power thing should have been thought through.) The drivers are specific to the OS/Device, correct? I still agree that they should have made the drivers available from day one. Anyway, yet another stumble by P1.
