Everytime I load the CO Datebook, it takes a few seconds for it to load "something". It's quite inconvenience sometimes as I need to add am event (once I remember that =.=...) while I have little time. Does anybody know why?

Its quite dissapointing how slow all of the PIM programs work on the TH. As far as that goes, Purging (Purge from the menu in datebook) old events might speed things up a bit.

If you have too many pictures or videos, CO will be slowed down :(

DB5 runs quickly on the TH-55. I've never found myself waiting for it.

Well I dont know exactly lol. What I have really noticed is that it will be slower if you have big .mqv videos converted with image converter.

A good solution appears to be to use a different image viewer - like the excellent [& free :D] GsImageView and move the images to another location [that you set in that app.].

See the brief discussion and link to further info here (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=71803#post71803).

I ignore CO and stick with Palm PIM.

Made me MAD . . . so I went back to 'old faithful' . . . DateBk5

Palm PIM? Not sure what you mean by Palm PIM.

I too am suffering from CO slowness and would like to find a solution using Palm/Sony applications rather than something like DB5.

Thanks,

The original Palm PIM apps are on the TH55, Calendar, Address Book, etc..

I used the Palm Calendar, and then switched to DB5.

I never liked CO anything, but that's just me. ;)

The only CO things I use once in a while are FreeNote and Reference. They are pretty quick. For DateBook and ToDoList, I actually use A5 (see screenshot, below).

I didn't actually use the Palm AddressBook and MemoPad directly. Since they are mostly used to look up info while I'm on A5 or other apps, I use CallLookup DA and daMemoPad to pop them up while I'm in the other app, sort of multitasking. Those DAs come handy when you are in NetFront3.1. You don't want to disconnect the WiFi for just accessing the PIM. To add ToDoList while in NetFront, I use ToDo DA.
