My daughter has a Palm VII & I'm thinking a Tungsten E
for Xmas. Seriously, is there enough battery life to,
for instance, play music on the way to work, (about 25 min.)
and still have enough 'juice' to use it at work? (and play a few games?)
Thanks much for your input,
MaryWM

There should be plenty of power for this type of use. You can also have an extra usb cable at work to provide additional trickle charge along with syncing.
The only thing I would mention about the TE is the screen noise, which I found to be a seriously annoying problem. I don't know if I would recommend a TE to anyone. I'm not sure what I would recommend for something in that price range. So far my T5 seems immune.

Hey Mary, I love my E and have had no problems with the battery life because I keep it charged and use trickle charge from my usb cable at work. As for any screen noise, I have purchased Lightspeed. It allows me to change the cpu speed for each applicatio I have. By setting the cpu at 180 I have had no screen noise. it was well worth the investment. I also think the E is a great buy. If your daughter wants to play mp3s, be sure she buys an sd card. Get at least a 512 card.
