What's the maximum range between bluetooth enabled devices?

Depends on class:
class1=100meters
class2=I forget
class3=10meters

what are some examples of class 1 , 2 , and 3 devices!?

Class 1=most USB BT dongles.

Never saw a class 2 but I assume it exists because 1 and 3 do.

Class 3=BT MS and probably BT cell phones.

Note: range is limited to that with the lower class rating.

haha speaking of assuming #2 would exist...
I know some friends that were considering doing a prank at our university by releasing two pigs into a large building with the numbers "1" and "3" painted on them... LOL

yea at this one high school they released "7" chickens on campus and didnt label the "6th" one. so they release 1 2 3 4 5 7. they spent weeks trying to find the 6th one.
