Thanx for posting great specific tt5 info on here. I finally got my tt5 loaded with all known working apps that I use. I would like to somehow make a back up of this exact configiuration. I want to be able to start trying out other apps so I can see what works and doesen't to post under the other thread. IS there any way I could get an exact backup of my tt5 right now, and save that folder to my pc? I have had quite a few hard resets trying out apps. I'd like just to be able to get back to this config of my tt5. Any ideas? Anyone else have a problem where you lose bluetooth on the tt5? I sometimes get this message that I need to reinstall missing bluetooth files. And the only way to actually do this is a hard reset. So any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

If you backup to a sd card you can save this file to the computer. Also, there is a hotsync backup file which you can copy and hide on your computer. It is the file that is used to recover from hard resets. If you make a copy of this you can use it to re-install your configuration onto your palm. I have a Sony so I cannot tell you the exact computer location but it should be like this Program Files > Palm(or equivalent) > Profile Name > Backup. My profile name is GreenB, because my hotsync name is Bradley Green. COPY the backup folder to a safe place. If you do not copy it, but move it, your next hotsync will be painfully slow, as it will have to make a new backup of your handheld. To restore this working configuration, you will have to do a hard reset on your device, and then replace the backup file with the copy you made. Then you can hotsync and restore the configuration.

Palm's Hotsync doesn't back up your entire device, only apps and databases that have their backup bit set. BackupBuddy 2.0 will backup your entire RAM to the desktop. You can read my review on PDABuyerGuide (http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/software/BackupBuddy2_Palm.htm). I use BackupBuddyVFS Pro 3.03 also from Blue Nomad (http://www.bluenomad.com/) on my T3, but you need to ensure that whatever card solution that you choose will see the SD card slot in addition to the internal drive. I don't have any insight into that issue.
