switching on - only with opening the sliding-display?

Is in there anywhere an option to automatic switch on the vz90 if i open the slider (display) - and switching off after closing it? I dont like the small sliding-switch in front of the device.

AFAIK: there isn't a hardware slider switch on the VZ90 [I haven't taken mine apart to confirm...yet...]

I haven't seen any software that reacts differently when the slider is opened or closed.
If there were a hardware switch (like the NX/NZ/UX flip screen), powering off would be easy, but powering on is not.
The 4 app launch buttons (hard buttons) are special and can wake up the CPU. Other buttons (like Back) are not.

BTW: Software-wise, waking up and turning off with one of the 4 hard buttons is possible.
