switching on - takes more than 3 seconds!

if i switch on the vz90 with the buttons (e.g. with the left (datebk5) button) - the device takes around 3 seconds to show the rigt screen! first it shows the screen before switching off, after that i see a black screen and afterwards the datebk5 screen appears... can anyone verify this phenomenon?

I assume you mean the organizer (default right hard button #4)

It does take a little longer to startup than some of the other apps. I believe it is exiting the old copy of the program and relaunching it. This can take longer depending on what is on the screen (scribble notes or photos). This is because Organizer is big app (lots to load), may have lots of graphics, and is rotated (slower than landscape)

However, it is only in the ballpark of 1 second for me. 3 seconds sounds too long. Do you have other DeskAccessories loaded ? Does the same thing happen with other hard buttons launching other programs ?

no I dont mean the button #4 - the problem is with every button. not only on clie organizer.
i have done a total hardreset and tried it again. if i go to the standardlauncher - switch off - switch on with the button for movie - first (1 second) I see the standardlauncher (last opened app) - a short black screen and afterwards the movieplayer appears. the same with all hardbuttons .. it is not depending on what i have used before switching off.
