Background story: the administrator of our german Palm forum, Nexave, is a seller of screen protectors (Brand: Exim). He needs to know what size the T5 display has got, also very important are the corner radians.

So pleyse, can you post the size and the cornaer radians here (please use millimeters)
THANKS

I don't have a T5. However several people have posted that the T3 & T5 use the same displays, in fact some people have swapped their T3 displays into the T5 Palms.

Unfortunately for this kind of measurement, the display size itself is not important, but the visible cut-out on the case. Although it's possible, I doubt, that the size for the screen protectors for T3 and T5 is the same. If it was, T5 users could just use T3 screen protectors, couldn't they?

Yes, they are swappable, but the dimensions of the plastic around the screen are what is important, if someone is sure that the screen area is the same as the T3, then i'm sure Mad Dog would appreciate that.

Edit: Looks like FullAction beat me to the post by a few minutes. I'm way too slow at writing posts.

The screen protector goes on the screen, not anything else, so why would the measurements of the size of plastic around the screen matter?

No vendor in their right mind would put plastic over the visible portion of the screen.

yes, very likely T5 users could just use T3 screen protectors. A lot of the screen protectors can be used on multiple models.

For example the Belkins screen protectors I have for my T3 say "For Sony CLIE NR70, NR70V". That is what is printed on screen saver itself. Yet the outer case says "Tungsten T3" They are 8 cm X 5.5 cm.

Someone with a T5 will need to verify however.

I fitted a T3 protector but I had to cut the corners off as the T5 has more rounded corners.

This is exactly why the size of the plastic borders is important.

If my T3 protector doesn't fit on the T5, I'll eat it!
