Faint high-pitched sound

I just bought my Sony Clie SJ33 4 days ago, and I've just recently noticed that mine produces a faint high-pitch sound when placed near my ears. Is this normal?

Yes I have read many threads on it and I believe the general concensus is that the sound is coming from the screen and is comon in alot of the machines. Might have something to do with the screen refreash (cant remember that much about it).

Nah, that's just the tiny hamster wheel spinning REALLY fast to power the machine.
