WebPro 3.0.1a frustration

Any T3 users that have installed the 3.0.1a upgrade from palm have the "powered by novarra" bar at the bottom of the screen? Mine won't go away. It's really pissing me off and if I can't get it figured out, I'm going back to 3.0. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I would hardly call it "gray-legality". It is clearly illegal to run Netfront 3.1 on any Palm device as it has not been licensed for any of these devices. Even running it on a Clie that did not originally come with it is illegal. I understand the desire to use it and frustration with not being able to buy it. Perhaps someone should start a petition to get Netfront marketed to all PalmOS devices. Maybe if 5000 people sign that they will pay $50 for Netfront, they will pay attention and release a version for sale.

meh, it runs fine on my Zire 72. and i will buy it as soon as [read: if] it is available. Until then: I WILL run it!

Dont offer to send it to him. You're really putting yourself on the spot. There are links on the forum to where he can find it. I know there are a few websites that host it. Its easier that way anyway.

hmm, you need a special version, that works on palms. the clie version does not. and there are no websites, to my knowlege, that have this version.

Thanks for the reply Dmitry but it looks like the Novarra bar goes away once your cache is filled. I'll just stick with Webpro for now...
