Do not install the AppSlipRotate and StatusBarLib files that were associated with the T3 when you are adding software. This is included with programs such as Bible Reader( you must uncheck the boxes), and Datebk5 ( in the Tungsten T3 file).
The T5 doesn't like these files and you will lose your virtual graffiti. It must already have an installed program to handle the screen rotation. This lead to my first hard reset. I'm not turned off by this, but do need to be careful loading in essentially a new OS.
To all those T3 owners who knock the T5 : I remember my new T3 frying my Sandisk card about a year ago. Palm One will release a bug fix update, and 6 months to a year from now there will be T5 owners knocking the newest Palm with Cobalt and tons of "bugs"...

This isn't a bug. Those T3 files are for letting the T3 slider to minimize and maximize the size of the screen. The rotate part was probably the same thing for adjusting the rotation size with the slider out or in.

Good catch. My T3 also fried my Sandisk 256 card as well.

Phaggard is right. The T3 used an older version of the OS that supported the DIA but didn't include the function calls for apps to control the DIA.

That is the what the two apps provided.

The T5 is using a much newer version of the OS with all of the functionality built-in.
